The ‘Douglas Jardine’ Harlequin Cap In Red Yellow & Navy

£175.00

Available exclusively through ‘Albert Prendergast Ltd’.

Douglas Jardine is arguably the most infamous English cricketer of all time. Here is a faithful reproduction of his famous harlequin cricket cap. As worn by the Ashes winning England cricket captain during the infamous Bodyline Ashes series of 1932/1933.

British made (by hand) from 80% wool flannel in red, yellow & navy.

Finished with a standard peak and contrasting cotton lining. The harlequine cap does not have a button on the top.

The quality of this cap is truly superb. The harlequin effect has been created by ‘ripping’ and then re-stitching the cloth. This is the traditional way to make a cap such as this.

The ‘Douglas Jardine’ harlequin cap is a ‘back order’ item. Delivery will be around 12 weeks.
